This DR-E12 DC coupler is a dummy battery of LP-E12 battery, built in a TYPE C cable.

Important! Operation steps:
1st, please insert the coupler DR-E12 to replace your real battery LP-E12;2nd, close the battery door; This is a neccessary step; Camera won't start without the door closed3rd, there is a little cap in the middle of the battery door, push and open the cap, you will see a hole;4th, plug the power cable into hole;5th, connect the proper USB power source.Then you can start your camera.
