ADAM-4117 Adam module 8-channel analog input module data acquisition module ADAM-4017+
The ADAM-4117 is a 16-bit, 8-channel analog input module with programmable input ranges on all channels. These modules are an extremely economical solution for industrial measurement and monitoring applications. It can provide 3000V DC optical isolation protection between the analog input channel and the module to prevent the module and peripheral equipment from being damaged by the high voltage on the input line. ADAM-4017 provides signal conditioning, A/D conversion, range and RS-485 digital communication functions. The module provides optical isolation by providing up to 3000 VDC between the A/D input and the transformer, preventing damage to ground circulation and shocks. The ADAM-4017 uses a 16-bit microprocessor-controlled sigma-delta converter to convert sensor voltage or current into digital data. The digital data is then converted into engineering units. When prompted by the host, the module will send data to the host via the standard RS-485 interface.
