The Semiconductors FRDM33664BEVB evaluation board is a development tool that supports system design based on the MC33664 isolated network transceiver. The FRDM33664AEVM board allows access to all features of the MC33664. The EV kit can be configured as a shield using a standard ArduinoTM connector, select the Freedom board, or be configured separately.
When the FRDM33664AEVM board is connected to the Freedom board, the SPI connector is directly connected to the MCU SPI pin. The routing of SPI signals through the connector depends on the particular Freedom board being used. In this configuration, the KIT33664AEVB is powered by a USB cable connected between the Freedom board and the PC. No external power supply is required.
