1.Perfect size! Easy application, too. I was wanting something that provided a sturdy buffer between the camera assembly and whatever I set my phone on. This metal piece with cutouts for the lenses are just what you need. Plastic or glass over the lenses will eventually fog up and this provides the best protection while still functioning as intended.

2.I didn't want a glass or plastic cover that went over that camera lens, those things often cause problems with light reflections at certain angles or completely destroy the ability to take a photo with the flash on. I just wanted something that inserts in the bezel area and is higher than the cameras so the cameras will never directly touch a surface. This does that and it looks pretty good.
