📌TIPS:
1. KM50 is ONLY for 12-24V vehicle battery electrical systems, and should NOT be used to test 110/220V household appliances or it will be damaged.2. The LED and LCD draw no more than 100 milliamps of current. So if you use this device as a test light or multimeter, it is safe for computers and airbags.3. When turning on components, you can extend the life of rocker switch in the tool if you first press the switch, and then apply the tip to the component. The arc will then occur at the tip and not at the metal contacts of the rocker switch.

Resistance Test: While the tool in this mode, contact the probe tip to a circuit, then the LCD display will read the resistance between the tip and auxiliary ground lead.Diode Test: In this mode, the probe tip contact the positive terminal of the diode, connect the auxiliary ground lead to the negative terminal of the diode, the screen will display the forward voltage drop, indicates the forward bias. If exchange the probe tip and auxiliary ground lead, the screen will not display the voltage, indicates the reverse bias.Signal Circuit Testing: Once you extract a DTC from the vehicle and realize that troubleshooting begins with some kind of sensor circuit, there is a quick test you can perform to verify the code. Testing your sensor is easy while using the tool.Testing Trailer Lights and Connections: While the tool in DC Voltage mode, clip the auxiliary ground lead to the trailer ground , probe the contacts at the jack and then apply voltage to the probe tip. This lets you check the function and orientation of the connector and trailer lights.Red/Green Polarity LED: The Red/Green Polarity LED lights up when the probe tip voltage matches the battery voltage within ±0.4 volts. More Advance Features to Do Circuit Test
✔️Fuel Inject Mode:
There are a variety of currently used techniques and tools that can test a fuel injector or injector circuitry; however it usually involves using multiple tools and tests to check every aspect of the injector circuit. Complete testing could take quite a bit of time.Fuel Inject Mode is specifically set up for quick and easy diagnosis of the fuel injection circuit. A quick connection to the circuit and the KM50 will display all the information needed to test the injectors. To reset the maximum and minimum values, press the mode button twice.If no valid injector pulse is detected in this mode, a bar icon will be displayed instead.
✔️Frequency and Duty Cycle Mode:
The car's electronic control system communicates with various sensors via digital signals. When the car fails, you need to use the instrument to check whether the frequency of the signal or the duty cycle is abnormal.Press the Mode button to enter the menu, and press the Down button momentarily to place the cursor in the frequency mode, and press the Mode button momentarily to enter the frequency waveform display mode.Press the Mode button to enter the menu, and press the Down button momentarily to place the cursor in the Duty Cycle mode, and press the Mode button to switch to the waveform display.
✔️Buzzer and LED light are Switchable:
When you measure the voltage DC, if the voltage is 0V, the green indicator light will be on and the buzzer will sound twice; if the voltage is above 5V, the red indicator light will be on and the buzzer will sound once. When the resistance value is less than 30Ω, the buzzer of the device sounds and the green indicator LED lights up.

Checking for Bad Ground Contacts
Probe the suspected ground wire or contact with the probe tip. Observe the green LED. Depress the rocker switch forward then release. If the green LED went out and the red LED came on, a beep will sound, this is not a true ground.If the circuit breaker tripped, this circuit is more than likely a good ground. Keep in mind that high current components such as starter motors will also trip the circuit breaker.
