Product Description:

The temperature and humidity sensor probe is a cable-type sensor in the digital temperature and humidity sensor series. Sensor outputs scaled digital Signal, standard I2C format. This sensor uses a temperature and humidity sensor as the core component to ensure high reliability and long-term stability of the product. Internally the sensor includes a modified capacitive humidity sensing element and a standard bandgap temperature sensor element for greatly improved performance.

Precautions:

The relative humidity of the air is a function of the temperature. The air temperature has a great influence on the relative humidity. Various compounds such as acids, bases, and salts have a great influence on the physical properties of water vapor. The following items should be paid attention to when using:

1. The temperature and humidity sensor should be installed in a place where the temperature is relatively stable and can best represent the measured ambient temperature and humidity.

2. Avoid installing it in places with drastic changes in temperature.

3. Avoid installing it in a place where there is strong air flow.

4. Avoid installing it in a dead corner where the air does not flow.

5. Avoid using it in a salt spray environment.

6. Avoid using in corrosive gas environment.

7. Avoid installing it in a dead corner where the air does not flow.

Working conditions:

The sensor performs normally within the recommended operating range, see Figure 1. Long-term exposure to conditions outside the normal range, especially at >80% humidity, may cause a temporary signal drift (+3% RH after 60 hours). After returning to normal operating conditions, the sensor will slowly self-recover to a calibrated state. Prolonged use under abnormal conditions will accelerate the aging of the product.
